Dr. Rene Nevarez

Dr. Rene Nevarez is a Board Certified Chiropractic Physician, and Board Certified Orthopaedic Technologist. She graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2007, and has worked alongside Dr. Gendelman since 2013. As a Qualified Medical Evaluator for the state of California, Dr. Nevarez has acquired an extensive background in treating and managing complex work injury cases. She serves as Dr. Gendelman’s first assistant in surgery, and she is a clinician in both the Wilshire and North Hollywood locations. Prior to joining our team, Dr. Nevarez owned a successful private practice in Long Beach, California where she treated a variety of cases including personal and sports injuries. Dr. Nevarez is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner and holds a certification in Biofeedback for treating patients with chronic pain. She is a member of the National Board of Orthopaedic Technologists, the American Chiropractic Association, Council on Occupational Health, and Council on Chiropractic Orthopaedics.


Dr. Yvette A. Aghakhanians

Dr. Yvette A. Aghakhanians is a board-certified chiropractic physician with over 15 years of experience specializing in sports, personal and work injuries. She graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College, Los Angeles in 2002 and has extensive knowledge and skill in the evaluation and management of patients with orthopedic injuries. Dr. Yvette A. Aghakhanians is a compassionate, understanding and attentive to the needs and concerns of her patients, and strives to provide the best possible care. Prior to joining Urgent Orthopedic Care Medical Group, Inc., Dr. Yvette A. Aghakhanians practiced in a multispecialty group while maintaining her own private practice. She is an avid athlete and has over 6 years of experience in CrossFit, and has new found hobby of rock climbing. She is a member of the American Chiropractic Association. She is fluent in Armenian and speaks some Farsi and Spanish.


Dr. Timothy W. Markle, D.C., QME

Dr. Timothy Markle is a Doctor of Chiropractic with over 30 years of experience. He underwent undergraduate education in Hawaii and attended the University of Hawaii. He received scholastic awards during his undergraduate education including the Hawaii Merit Scholarship, and a MARC Honors Program Recipient. He obtained his Doctorate in Chiropractic from the Pasadena College of Chiropractic in 1984 and graduated Magna Cum Laude. During his Doctorate study, he also received scholastic awards including the Gonstead Educational Trust Scholarship, and he was named to the President’s List and the National Dean’s List.

Prior to working for Urgent Orthopedic Care Medical Group, Dr. Markle was in private practice for 10 years and was awarded the New Doctor of the Year from the California Chiropractic Association, Citrus Society in 1986. While involved in the California Chiropractic Association, Citrus Society, Dr. Markle served as the Public Relations Chairman in 1986, and Treasurer in 1987. Following private practice, he then joined several Orthopedic Medical Groups over the next 20 years and received invaluable experience in the treatment of work injuries, personal injuries, and sports injuries. In 1991, he was certified by the State of California as a Qualified Medical Evaluator. He has continued his training in Chiropractic Orthopedics, Rehabilitation, and Sports Injuries.

His treatment goals are to be caring and understanding, to provide each patient with the best possible treatment options, and to treat each patient as if they were a family member.
